The People-First
Leader Program

Six sessions to go from reactive to intentional — building the self-awareness, trust, and influence that defines people-first leadership.

The program

Leadership is a journey.
This is your foundation.

Most leaders are promoted because of what they can do. The People-First Leader Program is about who you become. It is a 6-session coaching engagement with Winnifred Anderson, grounded in the LeadWell Framework, designed to build the internal foundation that every great leader needs.

Whether you were just promoted, stepping into a new team, managing former peers, or a seasoned leader who knows there is another level available — this program meets you exactly where you are.

Clarity + Consistency + Care
= Trust → Influence → Followership
The LeadWell Framework equation
This program is for you if
New leaders
You've been promoted in the last 18 months and want to build trust from day one — not figure it out the hard way.
Transitioning leaders
You're stepping into a new team, managing former peers, or leading through a significant change in your organization.
Established leaders
You've been leading for years but sense there's a gap between the leader you are and the leader you could be. You want the foundation.

The six sessions

What we work through together

Each session builds on the one before. The arc moves from the inside out — from understanding yourself, to understanding your team, to becoming the leader others choose to follow.

1
Mindset, motive & leadership identity

We begin at the foundation: why do you want to lead? The mindset, belief, and frame you bring to leadership determine everything that follows. This session establishes your internal operating system — the clarity that will carry you through the hard days.

2
Emotional intelligence — knowing yourself

EI is the core muscle of the LeadWell Framework. This session is about developing deep self-awareness — understanding your patterns, triggers, and blind spots, and how they shape your team's experience of you. A leader's mindset becomes the team's mindset.

3
Building trust — the five pillars

If they don't trust you, they won't follow you. This session works through the five behaviours that build trust — and the common mistakes that break it. Applied directly to your team, your situation, and your gaps. Trust is not built in a single moment; it's built in every consistent one.

4
The GAP process — know your team before you lead them

You don't know what you don't know. This session works through the GAP assessment — a structured process to understand the People, Processes, and Priorities on your team. You'll leave with a completed gap analysis and a real roadmap for how to lead more effectively.

5
Communication, presence & hard conversations

Intentional communication is what separates reactive leaders from purposeful ones. This session covers how to show up with clarity and presence — and how to have the conversations that most leaders avoid but every team needs. Courageous communication builds trust faster than comfort ever will.

6
Developing others with intent

The true reward of leadership is not what you achieve — it is who you help become. This final session focuses on becoming a multiplier: how to see potential in others, coach your people forward, and leave a legacy that outlasts any quarterly result. You'll leave with your personal leadership commitment.

The Clarity Journal

Your workbook for the whole journey

The Clarity Journal: Lead with Intent is included in the People-First Leader Program and serves as your primary workbook throughout the six sessions. Built on the four pillars of emotional intelligence, it gives you a structured daily and weekly reflection practice that compounds your growth session by session.

After the program ends, the journal stays with you — a permanent reference for the leader you've become and the practices that got you there.
